Feature
Data Editor gets search, sort, and filter
The Glide Data Editor now has a full suite of table controls built into the toolbar. Filter, sort, and search your data right from the Data Editor tab.
Filter: Click the Filter button to add conditions to your table view. Build single or multi-condition filters using the same predicate logic available in your app screens: equals, contains, is empty, greater than, and more. A badge on the button shows how many conditions are active at a glance.
Sort: Sort your table by any column, in any order. Click to configure, see the count of active sorts at a glance, and remove them just as easily.
Search: When focused, the search field splits into two modes: Data to search across your row values, and Columns to filter which columns are visible. Switch between them without losing your search term.
Whether your table is a Glide Table, a Big Table, or an external data source, these controls work. For queryable sources, search and filters are pushed down to the query itself, so you're not limited to whatever rows happen to be loaded.

General Feature Fix
New in Glide: Folder Permissions (and much more). Folder permissions are a way for admins of a Glide team to restrict who can access apps. Admins can add members of a team to a folder as viewers or editors. As viewers, members can only open an app but not make any changes. As editors, members can both view and make changes to Glide apps. These new Folder Permissions give Glide admins an added layer of control over who can access and edit apps.
It's been a while since our last Changelog update, and there have been many fixes and improvements added to Glide in that time. You can review all the changes since November below.

- New AI Integrations: Users can now access the latest AI models from OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude in Glide apps.
- AI Model Integration: Glide now supports over 300 AI models through the OpenRouter plugin, including new models from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Meta, and more.
- Snowflake Support: Glide now supports connecting to Snowflake data warehouses, allowing users to build apps powered by Snowflake data.
- Single Sign-On: Users can now log in to multiple Glide apps on different domains using a single login.
- Array Results in If-Then-Else: Glide now allows you to use arrays as the result for If-Then-Else columns, giving you more flexibility in how you display data in your apps.
- Only Admin Invites: Only organization admins can now invite new members to the organization.
- Faster String Sorting: The
compareStringsfunction has been optimized to sort strings about 30% faster, improving the performance of features like Query columns. - Array Owners: Users can now set array columns as row owners in Glide Tables and Big Tables, providing more flexibility in managing data ownership.
- Fix Creating App in Folder: Users can now create new apps within folders when Folder Permissions are enabled, without encountering errors or having the app created outside the folder.

- Increment Updates Counter: The increment action in Glide Workflows now displays an "Each run uses 1 update" counter, providing users visibility into how their automation usage is billed.
- Quota Fix: Glide now uses the app's quota limit instead of the Google Sheet owner's quota when importing sheets to native tables, addressing import failures due to quota restrictions.
- Horizontal Card Collection Fix: Horizontal card collections now maintain consistent width regardless of the number of cards displayed. Also adjusted the padding around them to improve their alignment and appearance.
- Larger PDF Generation: DocsAutomator integration now supports generating larger PDF documents.
- OpenAI Integration Parity: Users can now access the full suite of OpenAI features, including image generation, chat completion, audio transcription, and more in Glide.

Integrations General
We shipped a new Xero integration, improved image upload performance, and fixed several important issues with Charts, Data Grid buttons, and file imports.
Improvements (3)
- Added Xero integration, allowing you to connect your Xero accounting data to your Glide apps.
- Optimized multi-image upload to reduce memory usage when selecting multiple photos at once, preventing errors when uploading many images from mobile devices.
- Improved chart tooltip formatting to match column configuration settings, ensuring currency and number formats display correctly in chart hover cards.
Fixes (5)
- Fixed XLSX import crashes that occurred with certain spreadsheet files, preventing endless loops during the import process.
- Fixed crashes when publishing apps with very large schemas, ensuring apps with complex data structures can be published successfully.
- Fixed Data Grid button clicks not triggering actions, allowing buttons configured with "Open link" actions to work properly.
- Fixed duplicate currency symbols appearing in Chart tooltips (e.g., showing $$3.88 instead of $3.88).
- Fixed Comment component text reappearing after submission when users typed and hit Enter quickly.

QuickBooks and Salesforce Integrations
New integrations for QuickBooks and Salesforce are available as a paid add-on for Enterprise teams. Enterprise users can read from and write to these platforms directly within Glide using pre-built integration actions, enabling automated data syncs and more connected apps across CRM, finance, and operations.

- Fixed issue where screens with static content would fail to load if they were connected to a table that wasn't actively used in the app.

Integrations Security
Team-level Single Sign-On (SSO) is now available as a paid add-on for Enterprise teams. With support for providers like Okta and Azure AD, you can set up SSO once and apply it across all your apps - simplifying security management and reducing costs.

Feature Beta
Multiplayer Mode is now available for all users in Public Preview, enabling multiple editors to co-build apps in Glide simultaneously. Teams can work together in real time—building, reviewing data, and previewing user views without being blocked.
Each editor has their own undo/redo history, so changes stay conflict-free. You can also open the same app in multiple tabs—checking data in one while refining layouts in another—making both solo and collaborative building faster than ever.

- Properly implemented in-app filtering for Small Tables (Glide Tables stored in the GBT system).
- Significantly reduced unnecessary cache invalidation that was slowing down backend operations, particularly for complex apps.

Glide Agent is now available in Beta for all new Glide Teams. This means that every new team starting in Glide can immediately access our AI-powered assistant to speed up app creation.
With Glide Agent, you don’t need to manually configure every screen or data schema—simply describe what you want in plain language, and the agent will generate the foundations of your app automatically. From structuring data tables to designing layouts, Glide Agent makes it faster and easier for anyone to prototype ideas and build custom apps.

You can now trigger workflows from Slack or manual actions inside of your app, chain them together, and pause for human input when needed—giving you more control and flexibility when automating work in Glide.

- Slack Trigger: Kick off a workflow when a Slack message is posted—great for syncing team activity across tools.
- Manual Trigger: Let users start workflows manually from actions in your app, like pressing a button or submitting a form. Note: This Trigger can only be used with the Trigger Workflow Step.
New Steps
- Trigger Workflow: Chain workflows together by triggering one from another—perfect for building modular logic and reusable automations. Note: This Step will not work with the App Interaction Trigger.
- Human-in-the-Loop: Pause a workflow to collect human input or approval. Share loop links with users to gather responses, or prompt them via Slack to choose from preset options.
