The Free plan is available at no charge and provides the essentials to start building apps for personal use. The Explorer plan lets users explore the core features of Glide, including Workflows, Glide AI, and integrations. The Maker plan is designed for MVPs, prototyping, communities, and schools and features unlimited personal users. The Business plan has user-based pricing with features designed for companies of all sizes. The Enterprise plan gives teams advanced features to build highly scalable apps with any supported data source, including SQL.

Do you offer a free trial? Yes, you can start a free 14-day trial and experiment with unlimited apps, our latest triggers for Workflows, Airtable and Excel data sources, and advanced features on our free Business trial.

Can I purchase additional users on my current plan? Yes, if you need more users than what is included in your plan, you can enable unlimited usage to purchase additional users. Save 20% when you purchase an annual plan.

What is the difference between a personal user and a user? A personal app user is a user who signs into a Glide app using a personal email domain, such as Gmail, or an education email domain, such as .edu. The Maker plan allows for an unlimited number of personal app users. On Business and Enterprise plans, any user can sign in with any email domain. Learn more about personal users and users here.

What is an update, and how are they calculated? Updates are used to change data and sync changes from external data sources like Google Sheets or Airtable. Integrations and the Glide API also use updates. Learn more about updates here.

What happens if I go over my plan limit? If you exceed your plan limits, your users will receive an alert when they log in, indicating that your apps have reached their updates limit. To resolve this issue, you can either upgrade to a plan with more updates or turn on unlimited updates on your team's Billing page. Learn more about usage limits by plan here.

Can Glide help me build my app? Yes. Glide Solutions delivers custom business software, including portals, dashboards, CRMs, and AI agents, at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional development. You can learn more about this service here.

How do refunds or cancellations work? If you are unhappy with your purchase, we will give you a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment date. Learn more about refunds here.

What forms of payment does Glide accept? We currently accept all major credit, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All subscriptions will be billed in US dollars.

Do you offer any special discounts for education and nonprofits? No, we don’t currently offer any special discounts for nonprofits. The Maker plan’s unlimited personal users is ideal for building tools for educators, students, and nonprofit communities.

Where can I learn more about Glide’s approach to data security and privacy? The safety of our customers’ data is at the forefront of our business. Our team continually invests in Glide's security posture so you can build with peace of mind. You can learn more about our approach to security here.

What’s the difference between using a Glide built-in data source vs. external data sources? The main difference between Glide’s built-in data sources, like Glide Tables and Big Tables, and external data sources, like Google Sheets, Airtable, Excel, and SQL, is that Glide’s native data sources do not consume updates. In addition to increased performance and full compatibility with all of Glide’s features, Glide’s built-in data sources allow you to use the Glide Tables API, which you cannot use with external data sources.
